If you have important data to share on the internet, make sure you have an image to share with it. Here are two images that you can use with your digital content. Both of today’s images were found on Unsplash and have been colour edited.

Make Sure You Have a Photo for Google Search
If you are adding content to your digital social media platforms, make sure that you have a photograph that will be used by Google when sharing your data. Below are a few tips on how to prepare your information so that it is SEO and client friendly.

- Make sure you place relevant images near the written content you are sharing. This will make the content more accessible when someone searches using google images.
- Do not imbed important text inside of images. We wrote “Where is your image on google ?” in the image above but we know that the search engine does not see this text. Instead the text the search engine sees is “where is your image on google by ann horstkamp png”. This information is found as the image file name. Make sure that all the images that you purchase or created for your firm or company have the correct information and name on the file. This small step will help people find your information on Google searches.
- Test to see if your site is mobile friendly. Google has an easy test you may use to see if you need to work on your website’s mobile accessibility.
